New York is where US equities, options, and FX meet. One metro, four asset classes.

NYSE and Nasdaq match a few miles across the Hudson in New Jersey, the NY4/NY5 campus in Secaucus hosts the trade servers for the large FX brokers, and the US prediction-market APIs are New York businesses. A 0-2ms route from the QuantVPS New York datacenter covers all of them.

Markets you reach from New York: NYSE, NASDAQ, ICE, NY4 brokers, Polymarket and Kalshi.

NY4 is a financial datacenter in Secaucus, New Jersey, associated with FX broker and liquidity networks. A New York VPS can keep forex terminals and US-equity or options clients trading on NYSE and Nasdaq close to relevant broker gateways; your account’s assigned endpoint determines the useful route. Measure broker or API latency separately from order acknowledgements and fills.

New York VPS FAQ.

Sound familiar?5 common ones

Ever missed a setup because you were away from your desk?

Your platform keeps running. Log back in from any device.

If any of these sound familiar, a trading VPS is the fix.

NY4 is a financial datacenter in Secaucus, New Jersey, associated with New York-area broker and liquidity connectivity. Hosting a trading platform near that network can reduce distance to supported FX and US-market gateways. It does not by itself provide exchange colocation, broker access, or a guaranteed order-fill time.

New York is a useful starting region for US equities, options, New York-area FX gateways, and US-facing market APIs. DAS Trader Pro, thinkorswim, and IBKR workflows should still be evaluated against their actual broker endpoints.

No. Your broker and approved routing services determine exchange access. A nearby VPS hosts your terminal or API client; it does not supply exchange membership, market-data entitlements, or a direct-access trading account.

The published 0-2ms regional target is not a universal order-execution guarantee. NYSE, Nasdaq, options venues, FX brokers, and API services use different infrastructure. Measure the endpoint your account actually connects to during your trading session.

It depends on the trade server assigned to your broker account. A New York-hosted account may benefit from local routing, while another account at the same broker may use London. Compare terminal-reported latency before selecting a region.

It can host compatible data collectors and permitted trading clients, with the required runtime and account access. Choose the correct regional API product, protect credentials, and respect rate limits and jurisdictional eligibility.

Consider Chicago when the important connection is a supported CME futures gateway. Consider New York for US-equity, options, or local FX/API routes. For a mixed portfolio, separate servers can avoid forcing unrelated endpoints through one region.

Compatible MT4/MT5, cTrader, DAS Trader, or TWS workloads can share a sufficiently sized server, subject to application licenses and account-session rules. During the New York session and US data releases, allow CPU and memory headroom for simultaneous terminal, chart, and copier activity. Keep heavy scans or backtests from exhausting resources needed for live order entry.
