    Trading & access

    6 included
    • Run trading platforms compatible with your chosen Windows or Linux system. Platform licenses and market-data subscriptions are separate, and available CPU and RAM determine how much you can run at once.
    • No plan-imposed limit on exchange connections through your trading software. Exchange permissions, data subscriptions, platform limits, and available server resources still apply.
    • No plan-imposed cap on API connections for your trading tools. Broker and API rate limits, account permissions, and available server resources still apply.
    • Run AI agents, compatible runtimes, and your own MCP servers on your VPS. These workloads use your plan’s included CPU, memory, and storage; connect your own APIs and tools.
    • Administrator access on Windows or root access on Linux lets you install compatible platforms, indicators, and tools, and manage your server settings.
    • Run compatible trade copiers such as Replikanto. Software licenses are separate, and the number of accounts you can copy depends on your software and server resources.

    Network & protection

    5 included
    • Choose Chicago for infrastructure near CME exchange connectivity. Actual latency depends on your broker, data feed, and network route; the latency row shows the estimate for the selected location.
    • Your server has its own IP address for remote access and connecting trading tools. You can use it with services that support IP allowlisting.
    • Always-on DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) protection with advanced traffic filtering, plus firewalls and intrusion detection.
    • Server protection complements network DDoS filtering. You should still keep your operating system and trading software updated and protect your account credentials; no protection eliminates every security risk.
    • Traffic is not billed per gigabyte. Connection speed depends on your plan and location; unmetered bandwidth does not mean unlimited network speed.

Run Kalshi API tools on your VPS

  1. Connect to the server

Choose an OS supported by your client: use RDP for a Windows VPS or SSH for Linux, then install the required runtime and dependencies.

  2. Set up API authentication

Install a compatible client and store the credentials for the intended Kalshi environment securely outside source control.

  3. Test in the appropriate environment

Use available demo facilities to validate market identifiers, order sizes, and reconnect behavior before using an eligible live account.

  4. Supervise the running service

Run the client under a service manager, monitor logs and positions, and handle reconnects and API limits. Test restart recovery before leaving it unattended.

What is a VPS for Kalshi?

A Kalshi VPS is a remote server for your event-market API client, data collector, or permitted trading bot. Kalshi remains the external exchange. The VPS hosts your code and logs; account eligibility, API access, and market rules still come from Kalshi.

Choosing the best VPS for Kalshi

Size around the number of markets and streams your application follows, including storage for event data. Test the route to the correct Kalshi endpoint and respect API limits. Secure your signing keys and include explicit position and order limits in the client.

What changes when your Kalshi trading runs on QuantVPS.

Three things change when your Kalshi trading moves off your desk: where your orders start, how it holds up in a fast market, and the hardware under it.
Same order, two routes. Sample prices; actual fills vary.

Execution

Get to the Book First with Our Low-Latency Kalshi VPS. Optimized low-latency routing.

Event contracts on Kalshi reprice the moment a data release or headline hits, and the order that lands first takes the liquidity. Our Kalshi VPS delivers 0-1ms latency to Kalshi's trading API, so your bots post, cancel, and take orders ahead of slower competitors. That speed is what market-making and event-driven strategies on the platform depend on.

Volatility

Stay Online for the Release: Keep Your Kalshi Bots Running When Markets Move Fastest. Stable through market volatility.

CPI prints, Fed decisions, election calls, and weather events send Kalshi volume and order-book activity spiking, and that is exactly when a home PC or flaky connection fails you. A dedicated Kalshi VPS provides consistent compute and network resources with 99.999% uptime on enterprise-grade hardware in professional datacenters staffed 24/7 by on-site engineers, not a desktop under a desk, so your bots keep quoting and hedging through the biggest events.

Kalshi VPS FAQ.

Kalshi questions, answered
Sound familiar?5 common ones

Ever missed a setup because you were away from your desk?

Market data keeps flowing and your strategies keep running.

If any of these sound familiar, a trading VPS is the fix.

Install a compatible client and runtime on your selected OS, then configure the intended demo or live environment. Store authentication material securely and verify your eligible account before allowing order submissions.

Use Kalshi’s available demo facilities and the matching credentials and endpoints. Validate order sizes, market identifiers, and cancellation behavior there, while recognizing that demo liquidity and fills do not reproduce live conditions.

Event contracts can have different trading windows and settlement conditions. Read each market’s current rules and status. Your application should stop submitting orders when a market closes rather than assuming a continuous trading session.

Keep private signing material in a restricted secret or file store outside the code repository. Avoid logging signed request details or secrets, and separate demo credentials from live ones.

Budget for subscribed streams, local order-book state, event calculations, and stored history. Respect request limits and use supervised reconnect logic. More monitored contracts can increase memory even when order volume is low.

No. Test the actual API endpoint and distinguish network time from acknowledgement and matching. Account eligibility, exchange processing, and available liquidity remain independent of server location.
