Polymarket decides eligibility by your physical location. Check that you're allowed to trade where you are. Automatic backups are included with Performance (AMD Ryzen) VPS plans: periodic snapshots on redundant storage with fast restore. Standard (EPYC) plans do not include automatic backups — keep your own copies of configurations and data. Dedicated servers use RAID1 redundant storage.

Support migrates your setup to a larger VPS, the plan-price difference is prorated, and your upgraded server receives a new IP address. Update any API IP allowlists after the upgrade. Closing your computer, losing home power, or a Wi-Fi interruption can disconnect your view without stopping the server session. Reconnect from another device or when your connection returns. No. A VPS can shorten the network route and move trading off a busy local computer, reducing avoidable infrastructure delays. It cannot control market volatility, available liquidity, broker processing, data-feed interruptions, or exchange matching. Those factors still affect fills and slippage.
