Best Forex VPS Hosting: 11 Providers Compared

The best forex VPS sits in or near your broker's data center (often Equinix LD4 in London or NY4 in New York), gives your MT4 or MT5 terminals dedicated CPU and RAM, and backs that with a written uptime SLA. We compared eleven providers on those points: QuantVPS, Beeks Group, ForexVPS.net, TradingFXVPS, FXVM, NYC Servers, MyForexVPS, Cloudzy, OVHcloud, Kamatera and AccuWeb Hosting. Prices and terms were checked on 10 Oct 2026 on each provider's own site.

Prices are for monthly billing unless a row says otherwise. Yearly rates and temporary offers are listed separately, and anything a provider does not publish is marked "not stated". For VPS providers beyond forex, see our trading VPS providers compared.

What to look for in a forex VPS

Four things decide how well a forex VPS runs MT4 or MT5: where it is, whether its resources are yours, what its SLA says and how Windows is set up.

  • A data center next to your broker. Many forex brokers host their trade servers in Equinix LD4 (London), NY4 (New York), FR2 (Frankfurt) or TY3 (Tokyo). A VPS in the same data center or city keeps the round trip to a few milliseconds or less.
  • Dedicated CPU and RAM. Shared cores can slow your terminals when other customers on the same host get busy, often during the same news releases you trade.
  • An uptime SLA. Read the SLA, not the headline. It states the percentage, what is excluded and what credit you get when the provider misses it.
  • Windows Server with RDP and MT4 or MT5. Check that the Windows licence is included, that you get full RDP access, and whether MT4 or MT5 comes preinstalled.

Best forex VPS by use

Each provider suits a different trader. This is a short guide, based on the facts in the tables below:

  • QuantVPS: forex and futures from one provider, with London and New York for MT4 and MT5 and Chicago for CME.
  • Beeks Group: traders who want an institutional provider and pay in pounds.
  • ForexVPS.net: brokers in cities outside the usual hubs, with 22 locations stated.
  • TradingFXVPS: brokers in Hong Kong or Singapore, and traders who want a paid 7-day trial first.
  • FXVM: one MT4 or MT5 terminal on a small budget, with a $15 Virtual Desktop.
  • NYC Servers: 4 cores and 8 GB in named Equinix forex data centers for $60 a month.
  • MyForexVPS: the lowest regular price for 4 cores and 8 GB among the trading-focused providers here ($49.99).
  • Cloudzy: a low entry price with a 14-day money-back guarantee, if you have your own Windows licence.
  • OVHcloud: Linux bots and tools at a low price; Windows is available from VPS-2.
  • Kamatera: custom server sizes and a free 30-day trial.
  • AccuWeb Hosting: managed support with a Windows licence included.

Forex data centers and which providers use them

Pick the city where your broker's trade server sits, then choose a provider with a server there. The table shows which providers name each data center for their VPS plans, and which only list the same city.

Data center City Providers that name this data center Providers with a server in the same city
Equinix LD4 London QuantVPS, TradingFXVPS, FXVM, NYC Servers Beeks Group, ForexVPS.net, MyForexVPS (Telehouse East), Cloudzy, OVHcloud (Erith), Kamatera, AccuWeb Hosting
Equinix NY4 New York QuantVPS, ForexVPS.net, TradingFXVPS, FXVM, NYC Servers Beeks Group, MyForexVPS (CoreSite NY1), Cloudzy, Kamatera, AccuWeb Hosting, OVHcloud (Local Zone, Linux only)
Equinix FR2 Frankfurt None of the eleven QuantVPS, Beeks Group, ForexVPS.net, TradingFXVPS, FXVM, Cloudzy, OVHcloud (Limburg), Kamatera, AccuWeb Hosting
Equinix TY3 Tokyo TradingFXVPS, NYC Servers (ForexVPS.net names Equinix TY8) QuantVPS, FXVM, Beeks Group, Kamatera, AccuWeb Hosting

To find your broker's data center, ask the broker or look up the server name shown in the MT4 or MT5 login window. Then ping that server from the VPS location you plan to use, at the hours your strategy trades.

Prices checked on 10 Oct 2026.

Provider Published terminal or chart guidance per plan
QuantVPS Charts or strategies: Starter 0 to 1, Lite 1 to 3, Pro 3 to 5, Ultra 5 to 10, Dedicated 10+

These counts assume light setups. Each extra chart, indicator and EA adds to CPU and RAM use, so check Task Manager during a busy session before adding more terminals. See MT4 and MT5 hosting on QuantVPS for plans with MetaTrader preinstalled in London and New York.

How to choose a forex VPS

Start with the broker connection, then check the application workload and ongoing cost. Measure latency to the broker’s trading server from the candidate region, including at the hours when your strategy runs. Compare the same operating system and billing interval. Read what the SLA covers and what remedy it provides, and confirm how backups and maintenance are handled.

For an Expert Advisor or copier, test reconnecting after a network interruption and restarting the terminal after a server reboot. A VPS can keep software running independently of a home computer, but it does not remove market risk, prevent slippage or guarantee that orders are accepted. Broker and application behavior remain part of the system.

FAQs

Which MT5 VPS has the best uptime guarantee?

Of the eleven providers here, QuantVPS has the highest written commitment: a 99.999% monthly SLA, about 26 seconds of downtime a month. ForexVPS.net, FXVM, TradingFXVPS and MyForexVPS set their SLAs at 99.99%, even where a headline says 100% or 99.999%. Cloudzy states 99.95%, OVHcloud and AccuWeb Hosting 99.9%, and Kamatera's SLA document says 99.9%. Beeks Group does not state one.

NYC Servers promises 100%, but only during market trading hours. Compare what each SLA excludes and what credit it pays, not just the percentage (checked on 10 Oct 2026).

What features matter in an MT5 VPS?

Location matters most: the VPS should sit in or near the data center that hosts your broker's MT5 server, such as LD4 in London or NY4 in New York. Then check for dedicated CPU and RAM, a written uptime SLA, Windows Server with RDP and the licence included, and backups.

MT5 preinstalled saves setup time, and a plan with a published terminal count makes sizing easier.

Can I run several MT5 terminals on one VPS?

Yes. Install each MT5 terminal in its own folder, or run it in portable mode, and log each one in to its own account, since one terminal handles one active account at a time. Each terminal adds to CPU and RAM use, so choose a plan whose published terminal count covers your setup.

Our guide shows how to open multiple MT5 terminals on the same VPS step by step.
