GENERAL RULES
Expert Advisors (EAs)
- EAs are allowed if they follow the firm’s trading criteria, but HFT, martingale, and other high-risk/manipulative strategies are prohibited. Only EAs with proper risk management for long-term stability are encouraged.
Scalping Rule
- Scalping is allowed, but trades closed in under 2 minutes or those resembling arbitrage are prohibited and may lead to action from the Risk Team.
Copy Trading
- Allowed only from your own accounts, and verification of the source account may be required.
Inactivity Rule
- Both Ability accounts (all stages) and the Funded Trader Program have a 6 month inactivity period. No trade within this period will result to account breach.
Consistency Rule
- The Ability Challenge and Funded Trader program requires traders to show consistency in their trading by keeping trade sizes and durations balanced across the minimum four & five trading days respectively.
The score is calculated using the formula
- [1 - (most profitable day ÷ total profit on all profitable days)] × 100. A score above 70 means the trader is consistent, a score between 50 and 70 triggers manual review by the risk team, and a score below 50 requires the trader to continue trading until it improves.
